Mark comes home in the middle of the night to find his troubled wife, Ellen, still awake. However, Ellen's concern is less about where her husband has been and more about whether or not she is a good mother. Her anxiety sparks an argument over how to discipline their children, and neither of the two are willing to back down. Even face to face, the couple painfully struggles to communicate the things that matter most to them.
