Biography
Timothy Braun. Timothy Braun's plays have been presented at The Asylum (Nevada), Ensemble Studio Theater (New York), Hyde Park (Texas), Ontological-Hysteric Theater (New York), and Theatre X (New Mexico). Residencies include Edward F. Albee Foundation, HERE Arts Center, MacDowell Colony, and Ucross, among others. Currently, Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation and a Dorothy Norton Clay Fellowship from the Mary Anderson Center For The Arts support Mr. Braun's work. In the summer of 2009 Mr. Braun was a writer-in-residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute.
Fugue, Midway Journal, Paper Wall, Playscripts Inc., Quay Journal of the Arts, and Word Riot, among others, have published Mr. Braun's work. He is a columnist of sports for The Austin Chronicle, food for Flak Magazine, and religion for killingthebudha.com. MFA: Columbia University. Mr. Braun teaches at St. Edward's University.
