Biography
Samara Siskind’s plays and monologues have been produced nationally and internationally and featured in various anthologies including Shorter, Faster, Funnier: Comic Plays and Monologues, StageIt!7: Thirty Ten-Minute Plays, The Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2023, Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival 2024: The Short Plays, The Best Women's Stage Monologues of 2024, The Best Men's Stage Monologues of 2024, and The Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2024. Her work has been developed and produced by City Theatre Miami, New City Players, Cherry Picking NYC, Whiskey Theatre Factory, Playwrights' Round Table, Surfside Playhouse, Lakeshore Players Theatre, the Semo Dobbins Conservatory, Play de Luna, B3 Theater, Murmuration Theatre Company, M1A - Miami One Acts, Asian Story Theatre, Lost Girls Theatre, Napa Valley Players and Edmonds Driftwood Players, amongst others. Samara is a graduate of Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.
