Biography
Malcolm MacDonald taught theater for many years in Los Angeles, and Guadalajara, Mexico—where he wrote Coyote's Christmas Carol. He now lives half the year in Mexico, and the other half in New Mexico. He has worked with such luminaries as Luis de Tavira, Jose Cruz Gonzalez, and Astrid Hadad. His play, the beetles, written in a workshop with the great Lanford Wilson, was hailed by the LA Times as "a sort of mash note to living dreams... emotionally and stylistically as sure-footed as those in Caryl Churchill's Cloud Nine." MacDonald's play, Laguna Beach, Ohio, published by Dramatic Publishing, won the AACT NewPlayFest. Please check out Coyoteplay.com to learn more about Coyote's Christmas Carol.
