Biography
David Folwell is a graduate of the American Playwright Fellowship Program at the Juilliard School under the guidance of Marsha Norman and Christopher Durang, as well as the Edward Albee Playwrights Program at the University of Houston. He is a two-time recipient of the Lecomte du Nouy Prize given by Lincoln Center. In 2003, his play Drug Buddy had a reading at Manhattan Theater Club starring Anna Paquin. His play Boise was performed at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in New York in 2004. In 2005, the Outer Critics Circle nominated Boise for the John Gassner Award.
