Biography
Euijoon Kim. A Los Angeles native, Euijoon Kim received his B.A. in Film Studies from the University of California, Irvine. While continuing his education in Film/TV production, he joined the David Henry Hwang Playwriting Institute in 1996. There he completed three plays and several one-acts and monologues he performed himself. His third play, My Tired Broke Ass Pontificating Slapstick Funk, was given a mainstage production at East/West Players for their 2000 season. Karaoke Stories is his first play, and was originally completed in 1996. Since then it has had staged readings and productions at theaters in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Virginia, and New York.
