Biography
Tony DiMurro is a New York City based writer and actor and is a graduate of New York University. His first play, the one-act Moe Green Gets It In The Eye, was produced Off-Broadway by the Rapp Arts Center. His first full-length play, The Coyote Bleeds, was produced Off-Broadway by the Worth St. Theatre and ran to critical acclaim. His third New York production, a full-length version of Moe Green Gets It In The Eye, was produced by LaTea Theater and was selected for the NY1's Critic's Choice Passport to Off-Broadway Series. His third full-length play, Minnesota Fats Is Right Around The Corner, received a workshop production by The Directors Company. His fourth play, Bergin Pines, received its world premier production at The ARTSWEST Theater in Athens, Ohio and Waiting For My Man was recently produced Off-Broadway by CAP-21 at the DR2. He has written several screenplays for David Sonenberg's DASFilms and worked with television producer Don Kurt on several projects. His current play 3 For The Road will receive its world premier this coming February at The Splinter Group in Milwaukee.
