Biography
Marcia Kash trained as an actor at The Drama Centre in London, England, and began her career at the Royal Court Theatre. In North America, she has appeared at: The Stratford Festival; The Kennedy Center, and Broadway, among many other theatres. Her first foray into play writing was in the early 90’s with the highly successful farce Who's Under Where? (co-written with Doug Hughes) which has since received nearly 200 productions around the world and been translated into 10 languages and counting. Other collaborations with Mr. Hughes include: Too Many Cooks, A Party to Murder, To Murder, Jack of Diamonds, Something Fishy and Deadline. Working solo her comedy Discovering Elvis and her drama For This Moment Alone have received multiple productions in North America. She also co-created (with Mary Colin Chisholm) the play A Belly Full which premiered in the UK and is now a screenplay. In addition to writing and acting, Marcia is also an accomplished director with over 100 credits in Canada and the UK. www.marciakash.com
