Biography
Taylor Lafayette (she/her) is an award-winning writer from Benoit, MS. Her works have been published in literary journals, placed in Mississippi Theater Association playwriting competitions, has received both gold and silver keys in the National Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition for her writings in the genres of dramatic scripts, poetry, journalism and short stories. She is also one the finalist for the #Enough playwriting competition where her play was read in the Lincoln Center. Credited and profound, Taylor continues to write stories that stay true to her character of southern culture, the black experience, and the human connection.
