Biography
Jeff Doucette is an award-winning actor who has appeared in hundreds of TV episodes and over forty films. He is a graduate of Second City's touring company under the tutelage of the legendary Del Close. He arrived in Hollywood as half of the sketch comedy stand up team of Jeff & Ernst, and appeared on many talk shows including The Tonight Show. He has a long and close relationship as both an improviser and sketch writer with Gary Austin, founder of The Groundlings, and is a co-founder of a number of improv groups including Improv at the Improv on Melrose in Los Angeles, and Over The Edge at the Alliance Repertory Theater in Burbank, where he supervised the creation of scripted plays developed through improvisation. He has co-written a web series, and has a screenplay that he co-wrote with his wife, Saba Moor-Doucette, currently in development. He has been teaching improv on-and-off since the mid-eighties, and currently teaches a form of improv that is meant to be used in everyday life.
