Biography
Michael Golamco is a Los Angeles-based playwright and screenwriter. His play Year Zero received acclaimed runs at Second Stage in New York City and Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago; his latest play, Build, is set for a world premiere at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. His play Cowboy Versus Samurai has had several productions since its premiere in New York, including in Canada and Hong Kong. Golamco is the recipient of the 2009 Helen Merrill Award and is a member of New Dramatists. He is currently working on new play commissions for South Coast Repertory and Second Stage.
