Biography
Brendan Boland has been a teaching artist in New York City for the last five years where he has worked with the MCC Youth Ensemble, The Epic Theater Ensemble, Urban Arts Partnership, American Place Theater, Shakespeare on the Sound, Public School 3, Hospital Audiences Inc, as well as The Green Theater Collective. Mr. Boland has studied, taught, and performed in Dublin, London, New York City, Boston, Connecticut, Virginia, and Maine. He performs regularly in New York City and is a founding member of The Outfit Theater Company. Mr. Boland has also co-authored several plays with his writing partner, Adam Crescenzi. While his work as a teaching artist is primarily focused on theater and performance, Mr. Boland has also taught classes in video, visual art, and playwriting. He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Theater from New York University as well as a BFA in Acting from Emerson College.
