Biography
Penny Metropulos has directed productions for regional theatres throughout the country including The Arena Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Denver Center Theatre Company, The Guthrie Theatre, and Syracuse Stage, among others. At the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (where she served as Associate Artistic Director for 12 years) she has directed over 20 productions.
In addition to The Three Musketeers, she co-authored a musical adaptation of William Saroyan's Tracy's Tiger as well as a musical adaptation of The Comedy of Errors. All three premiered at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
She lives in Ashland, Oregon with her life partner of 23 years, actor Richard Howard and their dog, Theo.
