A few minutes into a painful production of a Greek tragedy, a mysterious sign suddenly flashes the word "Bored?" The "real" play quickly disintegrates into chaos, as the flashing sign continues to undercut the lead actors while the chorus attempts to keep the show going with hand puppets and a rock band. The Siege of Eshteb revels in satirizing theatrical conventions, backstage politics, and the awesome power wielded by techies.
