Before everything went so terribly wrong, Dr. Hale's team of scientists was trying to help people. Now, John Bonner is the only one who can try to make the world understand--because he's the only one left alive. When a curious journalist pushes Bonner to revisit the night everything changed, he must face the questions that linger: Why were the four scientists summoned to a late-night meeting at Dr. Hale's home?
